A Wells man suffering from Type 2 diabetes has claimed his condition has reversed thanks to a low-carbohydrate diet.
Peter Townsend, who lives on Wand Road had been suffering from the disease that results from a lack of insulin and causes his blood sugar levels to drop.
The retiree's condition was manageable, but could have led to more serious complications if he didn't follow strict medical advice.
Following a routine appointment with his GP, the 64 year old was recommended to try a low-carbohydrate diet.
